BRX Accreditation is a third party accreditation system that assists rental property owners to provide an overall better experience for guests. Our program ensures that each accredited property complies with the local regulations and legal requirements in each specific market.
Each property is inspected annually by a Certified Home Inspector.
The BRX Accreditation program also lead owners through a series of questions & answers to determine if they are following industry best practices for rental properties. Throughout the process additional documentation may be required for verification of compliance.
Regulations
Regulations continually change at all levels of government and it may be difficult to keep track to ensure compliance:
- Rental property owners need to continuously comply with regulations to stay in business and avoid fines
- Guests have no way to know if the property is legitimate or if the rental will meet their expectations simply based on reviews from the other major booking websites
Best Practices
The overall guest experience is paramount, and our goal is to follow industry best practices for property rentals in each market:
- To maximize revenues, we focus on the overall quality of the guest experience from booking to post stay reviews
- To save costs, we focus on improving the efficiency of all aspects (check-in/out, cleanings, turnovers, maintenance, and overall communications with guests
Step 1: Verify the Property
This is a free service available for properties in both the United States and Canada.
Upon completion of this step, a property will receive:
BRX Verified Certificate (displayed at property)
BRX Verified Seal (displayed on the booking website)
Value to Guest: confidence that the rental property is legitimate
Value to Owner: increase bookings and satisfied guests
Step 2: Accredit the Property
This is a paid service that is available for properties in selective markets.
Upon completion of this step, a property will receive
BRX Accredited Certificate (displayed at property)
BRX Accredited Seal (displayed on booking website)
Value to Guest: confidence that the rental property is well maintained and matches / exceeds expectations
Value to Owner: confidence that your investment is maximizing returns while minimizing “emergency” costs due to proper planning and awareness
